What a pleasure to experience all of the Abrams Chanukah celebrations this week!

  • K-4 enjoyed Chanukah activities with their Judaic Studies teachers;
  • Middle school students made delicious latkes;
  • 5th grade performed Chanukah songs at the NJ State Capital under the capable leadership of Mrs. Solomon;
  • 8th grade visited seniors at the Abrams Residence and made Chanukah crafts;
  • Chanukah Concert with Mrs. Solomon;
  • Kindergarten held their Chanukah concert;
  • Grades 1-8 competed in a Menorah Contest;
  • Student Government held a Dreidel Contest
and so much more!!!

**Special thanks to Caren Solomon, who is retiring at the end of this school year, for her continued musical efforts on behalf of the school. Abrams is privileged to have her as part of our teaching family, and we appreciate all of the music that she has taught our children and provided us through the years.

Circus Chanukah

8th Grade and Abrams Residence Seniors

Abrams 8th grade students visited seniors at the Abrams Residence to celebrate Chanukah. AHA students and seniors decorated Chanukah mugs, ate Sufganiot, sang Chanukah songs, and shared time and stories with one another.

The visit was part of the “Better Together” program funded by a grant from the Legacy Heritage Fund to provide opportunities for students to interact with the elderly and engage in meaningful dialogue.

A great time was had by all-  Happy Chanukah!
