Help Ensure Our Future!
Please contact your PA legislator to support HB 1207- a bill that will potentially add an additional $19 million to the EITC program by allowing unused credits to transfer between EITC and OSTC. If this bill is approved, Abrams will be guaranteed a substantial increase in EITC/OSTC funds.
Pennsylvania’s bill to improve the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) and the Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit (OSTC) programs still needs your support

Last week, Pennsylvania’s House of Representatives amended House Bill (HB) 2373 into HB 1207-which proposes improvements to the EITC and OSTC programs – by a vote of 193-5. The House is expected to vote on the full bill on Monday, October 6th. If the bill passes the House, it will move to the Senate Education Committee for consideration.

Thank you for contacting the House Education Committee and the Leadership about this bill. We must now urge the members of the Senate Education Committee and the Senate leadership to support HB 1207.

Remember- if you, your family members or friends own a business that pays PA corporate taxes, you can help AHA and gain a tax credit at the same time- WIN-WIN for everybody!

Safety and Security Reminders

Just a reminder of AHA security procedures:

  • All parents should use the front door to enter the school with key cards and not the back doors. Parent swipe cards only work at front door.
  • Please do not ask students to open any doors- parents must report to the front office and check-in before entering the school.
  • No student or other person should use the lunchroom doors other than for dismissal or emergency purposes.

These rules are for our children’s safety.

Thank you for your cooperation!

Car Pool Rules

All Parents who Car Pool:

Please note that the car pool line is for grades N and K only. All other students are to be dropped off in the front of the building.

Parents who use the back for drop off should follow the directions of the teachers in the parking lot. They are there to assist students and maintain a safe environment.

Under no circumstances are parents to park their cars in the middle of the line and leave them unattended to walk students into the building.

** We ask that parents refrain from cellphone use in the parking areas while dropping off and picking up their children.
