Led by Mrs. Hamacher and Mrs. Lamkey, 13 Abrams 7th and 8th grade girls participated in the Bucks County #girlSTEM: Bright Girls, Bright Future Conference  held at Delaware Valley University on Thursday, May 24th.
#girlSTEM seeks to inspire middle-to-high school girls to pursue STEM- related fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math).
This year over 800 middle and high school girls spent the day at Delaware Valley University experiencing college life as they picked classes based on their interests.
From engineering towers that were able to withstand a simulated earthquake to learning how to take vital signs from a nurse practitioner – it was an amazing day!
Abrams is proud to boast of many bright girls with bright futures!
