Wednesday May 1 – morning
We woke up early (6:30), davened & had breakfast at the hotel – Kibbutz Lavi. When we got to Tzfat we saw a citadel & a reservoir dating back to biblical times. We stopped at a small little market & a lot of us all got milkies – whipped cream & pudding. We went to the bathroom & a crazy Israeli tried charging us 2 shekels each to use the bathroom. Some of us ended up paying but others decided to wait. Then we went to the Ari Ashkenazi synagogue & went the Safed Candle Factory. At the candle factory we saw some very cool sculptures such as – David & Goliath, Noah’s Ark, Winnie the Pooh. We are now on our way to Har Ben Tal to have lunch. After lunch we are going on a water hike & then at night we will be going on a boat cruise on e Kinneret.
