Shalom from Israel
Today we started bright and early again by going to an Air Force base. After learning about the purposes and history of the base, we went to go see the hangar. That was amazing. Did you know that each of the F-16 fighter jets costs 80 million dollars. We had a chance to meet a pilot and look at the cockpit of the plane. Later, we also looked at a small museum at the base that explained the history with pictures, movies, and artifacts. The second video we watched was about pilots flying over Aushewitz and it was very moving. After we were done with the base, we went to a natural spring carved into the rock. The water was bright blue and refreshing. As I write this, we head toward Tel Aviv for a tour, shopping, and a Maccabi Tel Aviv game with Tal Brody.
