Shul Projects

5th and 6th graders just completed a fabulous Shul project. Each group of students was assigned a famous synagogue from around the world to research. They had to answer certain questions about the synagogue such as when it was built, why is it famous, etc. Thhe highlight of theproject was each group had to construct a model of their Shul. The presentations have been marvelous and the models are very creative and interesting. Many are very accurate replicas of the original Shuls. The
models will be on display in the girls chapel both this week and next week. You are certainly welcome to come and take a look.
A sampling of the some of the synagogues:
Churvah Jerusalem, Alte-Neu Prague, Mikvah Israel Philadelphia, Touro Newport etc.
