Abrams Hebrew Academy, in conjunction with The Committee for a Jewish Elementary School in Center City and Congregation Mikveh Israel, is excited to announce that Abrams will be opening a satellite elementary school campus in Center City for grades K-1 in the fall of 2014, to be located at Congregation Mikveh Israel in Olde City.

Congregation Mikveh Israel is the oldest formal Jewish congregation in Philadelphia. It was founded in 1740 and is located on Independence Mall. Following its unique history and tradition, Mikveh Israel has always welcomed Jews from all backgrounds. This venture with Abrams continues Mikveh Israel’s long standing commitment to American institutions of Jewish education.

The next Parlor Meeting will be held on December 19, 2013 at 7pm at Historic Congregation B’nai Abraham, 527 Lombard St, Philadelphia, PA 19147.
